4 Hawks on a Fence

Hawk IMG7783-80-79-78 combined

Okay so it really isn't 4 different hawks.  Just the same hawk in different positions.

Here's the original hawk photos from my Flickr Photostream

I then masked in the background from a previous trip to Scout Lake community pasture.

Coronach Postcard

A few weeks ago (Okay, it was over a month ago), I was told about a photo contest for promoting a local community (Coronach, Saskatchewan) via Postcards. (Yes, people still send those.)

I submitted a few photos, hoping that one would get selected...

It turns out they wanted to use 3 of the submitted photos, plus another one from my Flickr stream to create a “Wildlife in Coronach” postcard. (I changed the create commons rights to the Flickr photos.)

Wow, I was really honoured, but could not tell my followers (Posterous / Twitter / Facebook) till now.

A good friend of mine told me at lunch that she had read an article in the Coronach Triangle News about these postcards. I have yet to see the article.

You should send the Triangle News an email... tell them to post the article online so that you can see the other winners.

Here’s the final postcard

Postcard
Stay tuned to this site, or Twitter or Facebook... I’ll see if I can get some to give away to a lucky follower or two.
