Quick video of my GigaPan Systems Epic Pro and Pentax K20D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. Video was shot with my BlackBerry Q10 with shake reduction on, so yes I'm that shaky.

Local Newspaper gets facts wrong

From: My email address

Subject: article titled “Composting addressed, curbside recycling coming

Dear Assiniboia Times editor,
On the front page of the Assiniboia Times, Volume 102 – Number 25 Friday June 21, 20013 (PMA 40062940 R7925) there is a perfect example of a rush to print without fact checking.
The quote below is from the article titled “Composting addressed, curbside recycling coming”. There is no author/journalist listed for this article.
“’[Composting] had previously been handled by the Munro brothers and they’ve since stopped operating the compost site’... ‘says Green.’”
Now my dad and I got a laugh at that line. For the record, “Assiniboia Compost Inc.” was a not for profit company run by David (my dad) and Glen (myself) Munro. We are not brothers. In the early years of Assiniboia Compost Inc. Kevin Schauenberg helped out and in the later years my nephew Antoni (David’s grandson) also helped out.
Since there is no one listed as the author of this article, I do not know who to contact. As editor, it is your responsibility to ensure all information is correct at the time of publication.
I am asking for an apology and correction to be printed on the front cover of the next issue of the Assiniboia Times.
P.S. The article is continued on page 5 of the newspaper not page 4 as mentioned.
Thanks.
Glen Munro (David Munro’s son)
